Dr. Steven Deskin
A graduate of the University of Western Ontario Faculty of Dentistry, Dr. Deskin also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Zoology from the University of Toronto. He takes great pride in bringing the highest levels of professionalism, caring and dedication to each and every patient he treats.
Dr. Deskin enjoys positive collegial relationships with many specialists in the Brantford dental community and will not hesitate to refer their patients to an endodontist (root canal specialist), oral surgeon, orthodontist, or periodontist (gum specialist) for specific procedures or treatments should they feel that a particular case warrants the involvement of a specialist.
On a personal note, Dr. Deskin and his wife, Brenda, are the proud parents of two young boys. Both parents are devoted to the advancement of autism treatment and awareness, having been personally impacted by this neurological disorder.
In his spare time, Dr. Deskin enjoys spending time with his family, cycling, and gardening. As an animal lover, he and Brenda have fostered many cats and kittens over the years. He is keenly interested in computers and technology, and enjoys applying his knowledge in these areas to the ongoing advancement of his dental practice.
Brenda wears many hats including that of Office Manager at her husband's dental practice, Brantford North Dental. She is also the Founder and Editor of AutismBeacon.com, a website for parents, caregivers, service providers, professionals, advocates and family members of people with Autism to learn, share and access vital resources around the corner and around the world. She and Dr. Deskin are parents to two wonderful boys, the eldest of whom has Autism. Brenda is an animal lover and avid baker.

Mackenzie, Registered Dental Hygienist, Restorative Hygienist
Mackenzie graduated from the Niagara College Dental Hygiene program in 2012 and from the MasterClass Series, Restorative Techniques For Dental Hygienists at the University of Manitoba, in the Spring of 2019. She has experience and interest in Dental Restorations, Soft Tissue, Periodontal Debridement and Treatment as well as Orthodontics and Community Health. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband Phil and their beautiful daughter, and taking their dogs for long walks, going to concerts and spending time with family and friends!
Carly, Registered Dental Hygienist
Carly grew up on a farm outside of Delhi along with her twin brothers and Rigby, her adored Boxer. She attended Niagara College's Dental Hygienist program where she graduated in 2012 with honours. Aside from her love of the dental world, Carly is an avid figure skater, loves the outdoors, the beach, travelling and playing soccer. As a youngster, Carly remembers being one of the few who actually loved wearing her braces. It's therefore no surprise that she has taken such a liking to working with our ortho patients!
Courtney, Registered Dental Hygienist
Courtney graduated from the Dental Hygiene Program at Georgian College in 2018 with honours. The second youngest of four kids, she grew up in Mt. Pleasant and always dreamed of working in the dental field since she was a child. As a patient of Brantford North Dental, Courtney got to know Mackenzie who became her mentor and helped her make her decision to pursue a career in Dental Hygiene. Courtney is so appreciative of Brantford North Dental for being so supportive of her throughout her schooling. In her spare time, Courtney enjoys the outdoors playing sports, being creative and hanging with family and friends. Some of her favourite activities include soccer, rugby, rollerblading, hiking and snowboarding. She also likes to be crafty and make string art!

Shelby has spent most of her life in Brantford. She graduated in 2010 from the Level II Dental Assisting Program at Everest College In Kitchener and has been working as a Dental Administrator ever since. In her spare time, Shelby enjoys listening to music, going to concerts, cooking, baking and spending time with her her two pups.
Elly was born and raised in Milton, ON and has since moved back to country life in Caledonia, ON. She started dental as an administrator in 2001, and comes to us with 15 years’ experience in orthodontic office management/administration. Elly loves spending time with her Husband TJ and her two sons Landon and Cael, and of course their dogs Hooch and Hali, and kitten Otto. When not occupied by her busy household Elly enjoys coaching/playing baseball, running, campfires, beaches and off-roading with the top down and the sun shining in her Jeep Wrangler! Yes it’s a jeep thing!

Andrea spent her childhood living on military bases in several provinces across Canada as both her parents proudly served in the army. In 2010, Andrea graduated from Niagara College's dental office administration program and in 2013 from Fanshawe College's Dental Assistant Level ll program, maintaining President’s Honour Roll distinction at both schools. Andrea loves spending time with her family, friends and her two dogs, Abby and Bella. In her spare time, she enjoys painting, going to concerts, watching documentaries and hanging out with friends.
Andria has spent most of her life in Brantford. She graduated from Dental Assisting at Medix School in 2009, and has been working at Brantford North Dental since 2010. In her spare time, she enjoys shopping, traveling and reading, as well as spending time with her husband Dave, and her sons Matthew and Cullen.
Corry was born and raised in Brantford, and graduated from the dental assisting school at Medix in 2009. She has been working as an assistant ever since and finds her career to be a perfect fit for her glowing personality as she loves helping others and meeting new people. In her spare time, Corry enjoys being with friends and family, and spending time with her boyfriend and and her dog. Some of her hobbies include knitting, sewing, painting, and reading as well as traveling and being at the cottage.
Natalie grew up in Northern Ontario between Sault Ste. Marie and Thunder Bay in a small town called White River. She moved to Brantford in 2009 and graduated from the Dental Assisting program at Medix College in 2013 and has been an assistant ever since. Natalie enjoys spending time with her husband, Garet; toddler, Reese; and spunky Boxer, Tytan. Some of her hobbies include going to the cottage on the weekends in the summer, fishing, kayaking and just being outdoors near a lake.
Sahara was born and raised in the mountains of Nelson, BC and moved to Brantford in 2012. She graduated in 2018 from Niagara Colleges Level II Dental Assisting program. Sahara likes to live an active lifestyle and has played volleyball for most of her life. In her spare time, she enjoys going to festivals and concerts as well as knitting, sewing, and creating new things.
