Dr. Steven Deskin
A graduate of the University of Western Ontario Faculty of Dentistry, Dr. Deskin also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Zoology from the University of Toronto. He takes great pride in bringing the highest levels of professionalism, caring and dedication to each and every patient he treats.
Dr. Deskin enjoys positive collegial relationships with many specialists in the Brantford dental community and will not hesitate to refer their patients to an endodontist (root canal specialist), oral surgeon, orthodontist, or periodontist (gum specialist) for specific procedures or treatments should they feel that a particular case warrants the involvement of a specialist.
On a personal note, Dr. Deskin and his wife, Brenda, are the proud parents of two young boys. Both parents are devoted to the advancement of autism treatment and awareness, having been personally impacted by this neurological disorder.
In his spare time, Dr. Deskin enjoys spending time with his family, cycling, and gardening. As an animal lover, he and Brenda have fostered many cats and kittens over the years. He is keenly interested in computers and technology, and enjoys applying his knowledge in these areas to the ongoing advancement of his dental practice.
Brenda wears many hats including that of Office Manager at her husband's dental practice, Brantford North Dental. She is also the Founder and Editor of AutismBeacon.com, a website for parents, caregivers, service providers, professionals, advocates and family members of people with Autism to learn, share and access vital resources around the corner and around the world. She and Dr. Deskin are parents to two wonderful boys, the eldest of whom has Autism. Brenda is an animal lover and avid baker.

Brittney, Registered Dental Hygienist
As a child, Brittney always enjoyed her visits to the dentist. In 2012 she graduated as a Dental Assistant and then seven years later, she decided to further her studies and become a Registered Dental Hygienist. Brittney is very passionate about her job and helping her patients achieve not only a healthy, confident smile, but also sustainable overall health. Brittney enjoys spending time with her boyfriend, Chase, and their two children, who keep their lives fun and busy with gymnastics, softball, lacrosse and hockey!
Jen, Registered Dental Hygienist
Jen has always been told she has a great smile, which is why she is so passionate about others achieving and maintaining the same. Jen was awarded a full athletic scholarship at Michigan State university (Go Spartans!), where she completed a degree in kinesiology, before going on to get her associates degree in Dental Hygiene, graduating in 2013. Jen absolutely loves her job and couldn’t imagine doing anything else! In her down time she loves anything to do with sports, especially basketball, lifting weights, travelling and spending time with her Pugs, Rudy, Maggie and Mickey.
Mackenzie, Registered Dental Hygienist, Restorative Hygienist
Mackenzie graduated from the Niagara College Dental Hygiene program in 2012 and from the MasterClass Series, Restorative Techniques For Dental Hygienists at the University of Manitoba, in the Spring of 2019. She has experience and interest in Dental Restorations, Soft Tissue, Periodontal Debridement and Treatment as well as Orthodontics and Community Health. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband Phil and their beautiful daughter and son, and taking their dogs for long walks, going to concerts and spending time with family and friends!
Sandra, Registered Dental Hygienist, Restorative Hygienist
Sandra is a graduate of George Brown College class of 2004 Restorative Dental Hygiene program. She is knowledgeable in many different aspects of dentistry, having worked as a dental administrator, assistant and hygienist since 1998. Her passion is definitely working as a Restorative Hygienist. Outside of the office, Sandra loves spending time with her husband, Jeff, and children, Marcus and Fiona. Sandra also enjoys working out, drinking coffee and cheering on the kids playing baseball and hockey.
Sarah, Registered Dental Hygienist
Sarah has been a Dental Hygienist since 2013 when she graduated with honours from the Niagara College dental hygiene program. Sarah is a dedicated, passionate Dental Hygienist who strives to help her patients achieve optimal oral and overall health. Sarah's goal is to help patients become empowered through oral hygiene instruction while providing gentle and thorough care. In her spare time you’ll find her with her husband, their two children, Jack and Lily, and their two dogs! Sarah also enjoys spending time up at their family cottage and horseback riding!

Miranda graduated from the Dental Assistant Program at Westervelt College in March of 2020 with Presidential Honours. Miranda's love of learning and continually expanding her skills and knowledge is one of the things she likes most about being a Dental Assistant. She takes great pride in helping others and making patients feel relaxed during their visits with us. Outside of work, Miranda enjoys spending time with her two young daughters. She is fond of cooking, baking, animals and music.
Remya graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery in 2016 from India and in 2019 moved to Canada where she studied Health Care Administration in Kingston, Ontario. Upon graduating, Remya began working as a Dental Assistant and moved to Brandford where she spends her time when not at work, cooking, baking, shopping and sewing.
Richere moved from Montreal to Brantford as a young child. She is the mother of three amazing kids. For many years, she was a photographer and in 2018 decided to pursue a career change to follow her interest in the field of dentistry. In 2019, Richere graduated with Presidential Honours in Dental Assisting and worked specifically in orthodontics for the first two years of her newly chosen profession before joining BND, where she has been able to expand the scope of her duties as one of our Dental Assistants. As a foodie, Richere loves cooking, and also enjoys all aspects of interior decorating.

Andria is a multitasker at BND. She spends most of her time as an administrator, but is also a certified dental assistant so often pops to the back to lend a hand. Andria has spent most of her life in Brantford. She graduated from Dental Assisting at Medix School in 2009, and has been working at Brantford North Dental since 2010. In her spare time, she enjoys shopping, traveling and reading, as well as spending time with her husband Dave, and her sons Matthew, Cullen and Emerson both at their Brantford residence and in their new summer home, the family trailer.
Never in her wildest dreams did Holly expect to find herself working within the field of dentistry, but lo and behold, she is now a rockstar Administrator at BND. We knew we had to hire Holly the moment we met her! Her bubbly personality and ability to grasp skills and concepts quickly have made her an an awesome patient resource and colleague alike. Mom to several of her own fur babies, Holly is passionate about rescuing and caring for animals. In her spare time, she enjoys baking, cooking and reading, as well as hiking and walking with her pup.
Sheri graduated from the Dental Assisting program at Medix College in 2016 and since then has worked as both a Dental Assistant and Dental Administrator. Sheri's true passion is working at the front desk where she is able to draw upon her amazing people skills and previous dental training and experience to support our patients and work with them to achieve their dental goals while accommodating their busy schedules. In her spare time, Sheri enjoys playing baseball, pool and darts, as well as reading and playing tv bingo.
